Instant Pot Cajun Shrimp Boil

  • Instant Pot | Pressure Cooker

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs. Peeled Shrimp
  • 1 16 oz. Savoie's Mild Pork Sausage
  • 3 Ears Corn sliced
  • 1 & 1/2 lb. Baby Red Potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. Liquid Concentrated Crab Boil
  • Tony Chachere's Seasoning add to taste
  • 6 Cups Water

Instructions
 

  • First, place your potatoes, sausage, then corn into your Instant Pot in that order.
  • Next, add your 6 cups of water and 2 tbsp. of liquid crab boil.
  • Then close the lid and turn the steam release valve to “sealing” position.
  • Next, press the pressure cook button.  Then press pressure level button until high is selected. 
     Set the timer for 4 minutes.  It will take a while for your Instant Pot to come to pressure with this amount of food in it then it will start counting down.
  • After the timer has completed turn the steam release valve to “venting” for a quick release of steam.   **Warning – The steam is very hot, use a towel to turn the release valve so it does not burn you.
  • Once all the steam has been released open you Instant Pot and take the corn out.
  • Then place your thawed shrimp in your Instant Pot and close the lid.
  • Next, press the pressure cook button again.  Then press pressure level button until high is selected.  Set the timer for 1 minute.
  • Finally, once the timer has completed turn the steam release valve to “venting” for a quick release of steam.  **Warning – The steam is very hot, use a towel to turn the release valve so it does not burn you.
  • Take everything out of your Instant Pot (excluding the water) and drizzle it with melted butter and Tony Chachere’s seasoning.
  • Mix you dip/sauce and enjoy!
