Instant Pot Chicken Fajitas

  • Instant Pot | Pressure Cooker

Ingredients
  

  • 2 & 1/2 lbs. Chicken Breasts Sliced into strips
  • 1 Packet Frontera Fajita Seasoning
  • 2-3 Bell Peppers Sliced into strips
  • 1 Large Onion Sliced into strips
  • Tortillas
  • Toppings of Your Choice

Instructions
 

  • First, place sliced chicken breast into Instant Pot first.  Mix with Frontera liquid fajita seasoning pack.  **Please note- if you prefer using a different fajita
    seasoning that is dry you will need to add ½ cup of water also.
  • Next, place your sliced bell peppers and onion on top of your sliced chicken breast.  **Please note- You will want to slice your bell peppers into wider sections than you would for
    regular fajitas in order to keep them from falling apart in the Instant Pot.
  • Then close your Instant Pot lid and turn the steam release valve to the “Sealing” position.
  • Pressure cook on high for 10 minutes.
  • After the timer has completed turn the steam release valve to “Venting” for a quick release of steam. **Warning – The steam is very hot, use a towel to turn the release valve so it does not burn you.
  • Serve with your warm tortillas and any additional toppings you prefer. We like shredded lettuce, cheese, salsa, and sour cream!
