Instant Pot Duo Crisp Boneless Chicken Bites

Equipment

  • Instant Pot Duo Crisp | Air Fryer Lid

Ingredients
  

  • 1.8 lbs. Chicken Breast
  • Seasoning of your choice We use Red Rub or Tony Chachere's
  • 8 oz Panko Breadcrumbs
  • Sides or dip of your choice We like country white gravy, french fries, & garlic bread.

Instructions
 

  • First,cut your chicken breast into bite-size pieces.
  • Next, place them in a bowl and sprinkle them with your seasoning of choice.  We get our chicken breast pre-seasoned from our local grocery store to save us time in the kitchen.
  • Then add just a little cold water and stir to dampen all of your chicken bites.  You do not want a lot of water or to wash off your seasoning.  You just want the chicken damp enough so your panko breadcrumbs will stick to them.
  • Next, sprinkle half of your box of panko breadcrumbs on top of your chicken bites and stir.  Then sprinkle the remaining panko breadcrumbs on top and stir again.
  • Then place your air fryer basket inside of your Instant Pot and place your chicken bites in the basket.
  • Next, place your air frying lid on your InstantPot.  Set the temperature to 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
  • Your Instant pot will display “Turn Food” in the middle of this cooking cycle. When it tells you to do so open your Air Frying lid and give your chicken bits stir to help them all cook evenly.  Close the lid and let it continue with the first 10 minute cooking cycle.
  • Next, once the first 10 minute cooking cycle has finished give your chicken bites another stir and put the lid back on.  You will cook them again at 400 degrees for another 10minutes.  Stir in the middle of this cook cycle again once your InstantPot displays “Turn Food”.
  • Finally, once the timer is done check your chicken bites with a meat thermometer to make sure they have reached their required internal temperature before serving.
