Equipment

  • Instant Pot | Pressure Cooker

Ingredients

  • Fried Onion Topping
  • 1 lb. Ground Beef or Ground Turkey
  • 3 Cups Beef Broth
  • 1 Tub Knorr Beef or Chicken Stock
  • 1 tbsp Nature's Seasoning this is a mixture of salt, pepper, onion, and garlic seasoning
  • 2 cups Twirl noodles or elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese
  • 1 tbsp. Corn Starch

Instructions

  • First, put Instant Pot on saute mode (high).
  • Next, add ground turkey or beef, Nature Seasoning or your seasoning of choice.  Saute until there is no pink left in the meat.  I add my Knorr Chicken or Beef Stock Tub while I brown my meat to let it disintegrate.
  • Then add 3 cups of beef broth and 2 cups of noodles.
  • Next, close the lid and turn the steam release valve to the “sealing” position.
  • Then press the “Pressure Cook” button.  Next, press the “Pressure Level” button until
you have selected “High Pressure”.  **Please note- If your Instant Pot is still on
saute mode you will need to press “Cancel” then “Pressure Cook”.
  • Turn the timer on for 4 minutes. Once pressure builds up, the timer will start counting down. (Meanwhile, you can place some garlic bread in the oven to start warming up.)
  •  After the timer has completed turn the steam release valve to “Venting” for a quick
release of steam.   Watch is close.  You may have to close it and open it just partially if some of the liquid sprays out.  **Warning – The steam is very hot, use a towel
to turn the release valve so it does not burn you.
  • Mix you 1 cup of milk and 1 tbsp. of cornstarch together.
  • Stir in your milk and cornstarch mixture. Then add 1 cup of shredded cheese.  The longer you let it sit the thicker it will get.
  • Serve and then add your fried onion topping!!!!
