Instant Pot Baked Potatoes

  • Pressure Cooker - Instant Pot

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Cold Water
  • 6 Potatoes Medium Size Scrubbed and Rinsed
  • Butter
  • Seasoning of Choice We like Nature's Seasoning
  • Bacon Bits
  • Sour Cream

Instructions
 

  • First, put 1 cup of water in your Instant Pot.
  • Next, place your trivet in your Instant Pot.  We use the trivet that came with our Instant Pot.
  • Then use a fork to pierce the sides of your (scrubbed and rinsed) potatoes.
  • Place your potatoes on top of your trivet.
  • Next, close the lid and turn the steam release valve to the “sealing” position.
  • Then press the “Pressure Cook” button.  Next, press the “Pressure Level” button until you
    have selected “High Pressure”.
  • Turn the timer on for 20 minutes.  Once the pressure builds up, the timer will start counting down.
  • Then, once the timer has completed let it do a natural release of pressure for 10 minutes.  Which means do not open the venting valve.  It will naturally release the
    pressure on its own for 10 minutes.  Then use a towel to open the steam release valve to “venting” to release the remaining steam.  **Warning – The steam is very hot, use a towel to turn the release valve so it does not burn you.
  • Your potatoes are now ready to be dressed with whatever toppings you like!
