Instructions – Instant Pot Beef and Broccoli

#1.  First, put your Instant Pot on Sauté (high) and add three tablespoons of vegetable or olive oil.

#2.  Next, add your beef and seasoning of choice.  Brown your meat scraping the burnt/browned pieces off the bottom of the pot (use a utensil that will not scratch the bottom of your pot).  Once almost completely browned add in your garlic and sauté for another minute or two.

#6.  Now you prepare your rice and cook your steamable bag of broccoli in the microwave.

#7.  After the timer has completed turn the steam release valve to “Venting” for a quick release of steam.  **Waning – The steam is very hot, use a towel to turn the release valve so it does not burn you.

#8.  Toss your beef and broccoli together and serve over rice!
