Now back to……

What cash-back website is the best?

Your absolute best way to be able to get the most cash-back on all of your online purchases is to sign up for Swagbucks, Ebates, and Befrugal if you haven’t already done so.

#1.  Click my link here to sign up for Swagbucks and receive a free 300SB once you have earned 300SB.   (300 SB is equal to $3.00, they add up quickly)

#2.  Click my link here to sign up for Rakuten (formerly Ebates) and receive free $10.00 welcome bonus.

#3.  Click my link here to sign up for Befrugal and receive a free $10.00 welcome bonus.

Now that you have signed up for all three of the best cash-back websites you will need to know how to navigate them.  If you have not used these sites before I would take a little time looking around each of them to get familiar with how they work.

For the sake of keeping things simple for this post, we are only talking about utilizing these sites for cash-back.  You can read the other post as stated previously to get more in-depth instructions on other ways to save/make money with these sites.

So, you have your purchase you are going to make online and you are signed up for all three cash-back sites.  You now have two options to utilize to ensure you are getting the most cash-back for your online purchase.

Option #1

You will need to log in to each of the three sites and do a quick search for the store that you are about to make your online purchase from and see what % of cash-back is being offered at that store at that time. (The cash-back % varies from time to time. Sometimes they are offering a special promotion with an increased % of offered cash-back.)

Options #2

Add all three chrome extensions to your browser for Rakuten (formerly Ebates), Swagbucks, and Befrugal to your computer.  Now when you are on the store’s website that you are about to make your online purchase from, a notification will pop up on your screen like this telling you what cash-back % is being offered at each.  From that point, you will select (click on activate) the one that pays back the most.

(Tip – do not click activate on one then change your mind and click activate on another cash-back site.  There is a chance that it will recognize another cash-back site is active also and will void your cash-back reward.  If you change your mind after you have already activated the other site just close out your search and start over.)

A few important things to know about each of the three sites

Befrugal

  • You can receive your cash back via check, direct deposit, PayPal, or e-gift card.
  • You can receive your cash back at any time once you have made the minimum to cash out. Minimum to be paid via check is $25.00.  Minimum to be paid via e-gift card varies from $5.00 to $25.00.
  • Partnered with over 5,000 stores to give cash-back.
  • Has printable coupons for over 250+ restaurants.
  • You can even get cash-back when booking hotels through Befrugal.

Swagbucks

  • Offers cash-back, exclusive deals, and coupons from over 1500 retailers.
  • Cash-back can be in the form of a percentage of your receipt total just like Ebates and Befrugal or it can be in the form of an offer. For example, 2000 SB ($20.00) if you send them a copy of your receipt for a purchase of a certain Coffee-mate creamer.  An offer usually pays you more than just cash-back on a percentage of your receipt total.
  • Offers surveys in exchange for SB points. (100 SB = $1.00)
  • Offers videos to watch in exchange for SB points.
  • Offers coupons to be printed in exchange for SB points.

Rakuten (formerly Ebates)

  • You can get cash-back when shopping online and in the store.
  • They have a certain tab for stores when they are offering double cash-back.
  • With the app, you can get cash-back when making a purchase from your cell phone.
  • They have a certain tab for stores that are offering cash-back + a free gift.
  • You can get cash-back on hotels, flight, rental cars, and even cruises.
