Instant Pot Beef and Broccoli

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs Beef Cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 tbsp Seasoning of Choice We like Tony Chachere's and Nature's Seasons
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable or Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 tub Knorr Beef Stock
  • 2 & 1/2 cups Water
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 cups Rice
  • 1 bag Broccoli In Microwave Steamable bag

Instructions
 

  • First, put your Instant Pot on Sauté (high) and add three tablespoons of vegetable or
    olive oil.
  • Next, add your beef and seasoning of choice.  Brown your meat scraping the burnt/browned pieces off the bottom of the pot (use a utensil that will not scratch the bottom of your pot).  Once almost completely browned add in your garlic and sauté for another minute or two.
  • Then add 2 ½ cups of water, Knorr beef stock tub, and ½ cup of soy sauce and stir
    all together.
  • Close the lid and turn the steam release valve to “sealing” position.
  • Next, press pressure cook button.  Then press pressure level button until high is selected. 
     Set timer for 15 minutes.  **Please note- If your Instant Pot is still on sauté mode you will need to press “Cancel” then“Pressure Cook”.
  • Now you prepare your rice and cook your steamable bag of broccoli in the
    microwave.
  • After the timer has completed turn the steam release valve to “Venting” for a quick
    release of steam.  **Waning – The steam is very hot, use a towel to turn the release valve so it does not burn you.
  • Toss your beef and broccoli together and serve over rice!
