First, put Instant Pot on saute mode (high).
Next, add ground beef,seasoning, and diced onions and bell peppers. Saute just until there is no pinkleft in the meat.
Then drain any remaining grease from the Instant Pot.
Next add your 2 cups of chicken broth, 4 cups of water, and 4 spoonfuls of roux.
Keep your Instant Pot on saute mode, stir to dissolve roux, and boil for 30 minutes.
Next, add your diced potatoes to the Instant Pot.
Close the lid and turn the steam release valve to the “sealing” position.
Then press the “Pressure Cook” button. Next, press the “Pressure Level” button until you have selected “High Pressure”.
Turn the timer on for 15 minutes.
Then, once the timer has completed let it do a natural release of pressure for 10 minutes. Then do a quick release of any remaining pressure. **Warning – The steam is very hot, use a towel to turn the release valve so it does not burn you.
Finally, your Instant PotGround Beef and Potatoes are ready to be served. You can eat them just like this or serve it over rice!
