Instant Pot Shredded Chicken Thighs

Equipment

  • Pressure Cooker - Instant Pot

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs. Chicken Thighs
  • Seasoning of your choice
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth

Instructions
 

  • First, marinate your chicken in your seasoning of choice.
  • Next, add 1 cup of chicken broth to your Instant Pot.
  • Then place your chicken thighs in your Instant Pot.
  • Close the lid and turn the steam release valve to the “sealing” position.
  • Then press the “Pressure Cook” button.  Next, press the “Pressure Level” button until you have selected “High Pressure”.
  • Turn the timer on for 15 minutes.
  • Then, once the timer has completed let it naturally release all of the pressure.
  • After all of the pressure is released open your Instant Pot.  Take the chicken thighs out and place them on a large plate.  Take out any pieces of skin or fat that you find and then shred your chicken with two forks.
  • Once all of your chicken is shredded you can mix it with a little of the juice that is in your Instant Pot to keep it moist.
  • That’s it!  You can use your Instant Pot Shredded Chicken Thighs for a variety of different meals.  You can freeze individual portions and keep them on hand to make quick and easy dinners!
