Instant Pot 4 Ingredient Pork Chops & Gravy

This Instant Pot 4 Ingredient Pork Chops & Gravy recipe is super easy!  I searched through our cabinets to see what we already had on hand that might make a quick and easy Instant Pot dinner.  We had a pack of thin-sliced boneless pork chops, brown gravy packet, chicken broth, and a can of cream of mushroom soup.  We dumped it all together in our Instant Pot and pressed start.  After it was done, we had tender pork chops in a creamy sauce and served it over some potatoes!  I was pleasantly surprised how good it was for being so easy.  If I could have added one more thing that would have made it even better, it would have been fresh sliced mushrooms.

Ingredients – Instant Pot 4 Ingredient Pork Chops & Gravy

  • 5-2 lbs. Thin Sliced Pork Chops
  • 2 Cups of Chicken Broth
  • 1 Packet/Envelope Brown Gravy Mix
  • 1 (10.5 oz.) Can Cream of Mushroom Soup

Instructions – Instant Pot 4 Ingredient Pork Chops & Gravy

#1.  First, mix your chicken broth with your brown gravy mix.

#2.  Next, pour the gravy mixture into your Instant Pot.

#3.  Then place your thin sliced pork chops into your Instant Pot.

#4.  Next, spoon your cream of mushroom soup on top and DO NOT STIR!

#5. Close the lid and turn the steam release valve to the “sealing” position.

#6.  Next, press the pressure cook button.  Then press the pressure level button until high pressure is selected.   We used the Instant Pot guide cook time which states 15 minutes per pound of pork chops.

#7. After the timer has completed let your Instant Pot naturally release all the pressure.  It should take 10-20 minutes.

#8. Once all the pressure has released you can open the lid and give it a stir.  Now you can serve this over rice or mashed potatoes for a quick and easy meal!

    This recipe works better with 1 c broth and mix the gravy packet with the mushroom soup dumped on top. The gravy is thicker and more flavourful. I only cook it for 4 minutes. Great fast easy recipe that the whole family likes, even the picky ones.

    This recipe was amazingly easy and tasty!! I was a little skeptical about not seasoning the pork chops, but they were perfect! I had a third of a pork loin that I cut into 1/2” chops. I did think the gravy was thin, so I turned the instapot to sauté made a cornstarch slurry, and thickened it up some. I would not want to reduce the liquid because we like a lot of gravy! Definitely a keeper!
